The Data Slurp

A token's website can lie. Its community can lie. But the blockchain doesn't.

That's why the first thing Retarded Auditor does is "slurp" up raw, on-chain data from multiple sources to get the real story. We don't trust, we verify. This multi-API approach ensures our data is robust, reliable, and resistant to single points of failure.

Our Data Sources

1. Helius (The Source of Truth) Helius is our primary connection to the Solana blockchain. We use it to get the most critical, un-fakeable information:

  • Contract Status: Is the contract Mutable (the creator can still change things) or Immutable / Renounced (the rules are locked forever)? This is the single most important trust signal.

  • Metadata: The token's official name, symbol, and description.

  • Creator Wallet: The address of the wallet that has authority over the token.

2. Moralis & Birdeye (The Trusty Sidekicks) While Helius provides contract data, we use Moralis and Birdeye as powerful and reliable sources for financial data. Their main job is to help us answer one question:

  • What is the Market Cap (FDV)? Knowing the valuation helps us determine if we're dealing with a nano-cap gamble or an over-inflated dinosaur.

By combining these sources, we get a complete and accurate picture of a token's fundamentals in seconds.
